Nirvana Funeral Services Pvt. Ltd was established in 1988 by Austrian, Mr. Walter Schweiger who arrived in Nepal  in 1985.

Since there were no services and/or agencies available at the time to handle all the problems that followed along the death of a beloved one, Walter, one day in 1988 got a request from an embassy to help them repatriate a deceased.  

He proved to be very professional in this field and established: Nirvana Funeral Services. The most well acclaimed repatriation agency in Nepal with experience in all aspects of repatriation and close relations with all embassies and other foreign representations in Nepal.
