Handling of Death

Once Nirvana Funeral Services receives the deceased we start taking care of the body with the utmost respect.

• Embalming have to be done on  human remains to preserve the body from decaying and as well to protect others in case of transmittable diseases.
• Postmortem have to be done on a human remain if the person did not die in any hospital. The main reason is to find out why the deceased have died and to be able to issue a death certificate.
  
  According to the Nepal police all deceased, if not having died in the hospital need to undergo a Postmortem.
  Nirvana Funeral Services tries to avoid this if possible. In most cases we managed to avoid this unnessercery procedure
